In a healthy liberal democracy, Christian voices will not be stymied, but neither will non-Christian voices be censored. There should be limits on a Christian influence in government; it must never be absolute. Here we do well to remember that the whole purpose of Christian influence is not the pursuit of Christian hegemony but the giving of faithful Christian witness.
