“Abbi, if it were up to me, we’d be driving to the courthouse from the tarmac as soon as we land, and I’d be fucking my wife by nightfall.”
“No one but me will ever taste you again, Abbi,” he purrs, his voice vibrating deep within me.
“I want to hear you, Abbi.” His fingers clamp down over my nipples, just shy of the point of pain. “I want everyone to hear how fucking good my cock feels, how much you love having it inside you.”
He pulls free and then does something unexpected by slipping a finger between my legs, coating it in a mixture of us. He holds it against my lips. With a grin, I open my mouth and suck hard, tasting the saltiness. A sexy smirk curls Henry’s lips. “How far my innocent little farm girl has come.”
“You know what else is a great idea?” His strong hands slide up the backs of my legs as he pushes my thighs apart. His eyes flare as they take in my bare flesh. “You bringing my favorite meal.” My head falls back with a moan at the first swipe of his tongue.
“But that’s not what Abbi wants, and I will give her whatever she wants as long as in the end, she’s my wife.”
And here I thought planning a wedding around Mama’s demands would be my biggest challenge in the coming months. Now it seems I’m about to become a stepmother, and to a girl who is only six years younger than me, no less.
“But diseases don’t care what’s fair. They don’t care if you’ve been a good person, or which god you pray to, or if you believe in one at all. They don’t care who you leave behind.”
“You still don’t get it, do you?” A strange look fills his face. “You have commanded my attention without pause since that interview video. I lied and manipulated to get you to Alaska as my assistant, I risked my entire future because I couldn’t stay away from you, I came back even after you shattered my heart.”
“I feel like I’m on a fucking leash, and I don’t even care. There isn’t a woman out there who has ever tethered me like this.” His voice turns gruff. “You own me, Abbi. Everything that I have and am is yours, and that will never change. That, I can promise you.”
“Because I’ve already had everything else, and none of it feels a fraction as good as you do.”
Henry may not crave dick as he so eloquently put it, but he knows Merrick does and he’s not shying away, not growling at him to remove his hands. Henry likes testing his own boundaries. He also likes testing mine.
“She called me Dad.” A small gasp escapes my lips. “She also called me Henry, and Dude, and Wolf. And apparently, I’m officially a DILF.” He shakes his head, chuckling. “What have we gotten ourselves into?”
