She was looking up at the sexiest man to ever step foot through the doors of the Sweetbriar Inn.
men who were so hot, they should have come with a warning, and the sum of it was pretty much: Don’t.
Great, a whole town full of happy holiday fans, and she got stuck with Scrooge.
A brooding, tormented writer. Great.
When a beautiful woman was questioning your manhood, there was only one thing to do. Lie.
“The Sweetbriar Inn and Holiday Suites is famed for our friendliness and small-town charm. Just check our Yelp reviews.”
ninety percent of Hollywood is trying to get back at everyone who wronged them in school. You’ve never seen a town so full of insecure people acting like they’re God’s gift. Actors are the worst,”
“We like our tones bright red and green, with some mistletoe and a Christmas angel on top.”
“But, that’s how it works, I guess, you stumble around for long enough, and eventually you figure it out.
When you pour your heart and soul into a story for years, obsessing over every word, and every scene, it was hard not to take it personally.

“Sweetheart, our adventure is only just getting started.”
“Are you trying to talk me into bed?” Ellie teased, even as desire flooded through her. “You’re forgetting, I’m not impressed with you Hollywood hotshots.” “No, ma’am,” Dash grinned. “I’m trying to talk you into forever.”
He was kissing her again, and this time… This time, there was nothing awkward about it.
Nick cracked a smile. “Board games are serious business.”
“Love can make you blind, even to what’s right in front of you.”
“You have a dark, devious mind, Nick Sterling,” she teased. “I’ll take that as a compliment.”
“I’d like to place an order for a bouquet.” “What kind of flowers?” “It depends.” Nick caressed her cheek. “What blooms mean, ‘I’m falling in love with you?’” Her heart leapt. “Roses,” she said softly, and Nick kissed her again. “I should have guessed.”
