“Stacey will give you a blow job for a fiver,” one of the boys in a hoodie shouted. But a girl elbowed the hooded boy and said, “Oi, shut up.” The others just laughed and Joe continued on his way with no other comment from them. He wondered what a blow job was. He’d been offered one before and said no. He should have asked his mum and was curious as to whether five pounds was a good price. Perhaps it was something she had written about in the yellow book; he’d look when he got home.
