System, for me, is a kind of home—and it always has been. It’s where I found a feeling of belonging and grew to understand important parts of myself. Ten or twenty years could go by before the next time the four of us get on a stage or walk into a studio together, but even if we never do either again, I’ll always be a part of System Of A Down and it will always be a part of me. That is home. It may not be where I want to live anymore, but I can certainly imagine—and even look forward to—coming back to visit.
