Breaking my heart 😭

I want her to avoid becoming as dark as me. I want to be the one doing everything to keep her safe and mine. She doesn’t need to darken herself to meet what I am. She can be the angel to my demented nature. She can balance it out with her good. I can carry this burden on my own. All I need is her.

I don’t want her to ever be haunted by the things that keep me up at night. I took everything so she wouldn’t have to.
