“I don’t know why I bother,” I say with a sigh as my brother Levi sinks the eight ball into the pocket of my pool table. “Me either.” He chuckles. “But it keeps my wallet full, so keep it up.” “Why did you bet money on a game you were likely to lose?” my twin brother, Adrian asks. “Because I thought putting money on the line would make me play better.” It did not. Or at least not better than Levi. He’s way too good at this game, but that doesn’t stop all of us from trying to beat him.
