I think about him daily and miss him desperately. I miss who he was, but I also miss the idea of him…the idea of having someone to walk beside me in life whose love is unquestionably unconditional.

The degree, the name of this fancy college printed on a piece of paper, or the job that may come along with it…those things are not evidence of a good education. Being self-aware, compassionate, humble, being able to see the world and the others in it through an unselfish lens, that’s what an educated person does. They remind themselves that they have a choice, not just to do the right thing but also to think the right thing.”

“You don’t know everything thing about me. It’s not spiraling, it’s processing. I might lose it for little while, but I always come back stronger.

“I know for sure that loving your people well will make your life better, but you have to practice it every day. It’s a skill to refine…a craft to perfect. Love yourself, love your friends, love your family, love each other, love hard, fight hard to love, love your enemies, love all the great loves in your life and love them well, and you will be the richest men on this planet. Love is not selfish or perfect.
