I’m a moron. I’m the stupidest person to ever walk the face of the earth. For the safety of the rest of humanity, I should be locked away in a government-operated facility for the rest of time.
How naïve we are when we’re young. How easily we trust that the sun will keep rising and setting, warming our days. And what a terrible blow it is to discover it isn’t the sun that makes things bright, but the people who love us, so that when they’re gone, everything is plunged into darkness.
Reality is simply what we believe it to be. Each of us makes our own truths,
“You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life. You better run away now, little rabbit, or I’ll rip you to fucking pieces.”
Past. Present. Fact. Memory. Everything interconnected and part of a whole, like individual pages in a book before it’s bound.
