Atticus & Jasper Good morning, sweet Nicole. Jasper and I enjoyed our evening with you last night—with the exception of the actual dinner, of course. It was truly a pleasure to meet such a lovely creature. We were hoping that you might be inclined to a more intimate dinner with just the two of us. “Is this a monster thing, or are you two just overbearing in general?" she called at their backs. "Both," they said in unison. Oh, great, they'd finally found something to agree on.
All she had wanted was a cute monster to help pay off her student loans—now, she was listening to overgrown man children fight about jizzing on the landscaping.

“Maybe…” Miri didn’t look at the fae. Her eyes skidded right past him to a tall demon with dark red skin, horns, and neck tattoos poking out of his collar.
“Not this again,” Nicole groaned. “Last time you played ‘to Nicole’, I ended up with five boyfriends and a lawsuit.”
