Enzo looks at me with raised eyebrows. He has boundless energy for social events, but I’m the introverted one, so I appreciate that he defers to me before accepting.
I apply a layer of something called nude lipstick, which is apparently lipstick that makes it look like you’re not wearing lipstick at all. I can’t imagine why they would make such a product, although a better question is why did I buy it?
By the end of this night, if I have not stabbed Suzette with one of these forks, it will only be because I’m not sure which one to use to do it.
The fact that Enzo has no idea what I am upset about is making it hard to be mad. Also, he’s not wearing a shirt, which makes it even harder to be mad.

I have read everything he has written, and now I am rereading everything he has written, because sometimes it’s more fun the second time. Like, you notice things you didn’t notice the first time.
Of course Mom is going to say to use your words, and Dad is going to hand me a big knife.
I suppose nobody ever suspects the housemaid.
