I would suck my father’s soul from his body, shred it into ribbons, then pitch it down to Lucifer in the underworld before I ever allowed the king to lay a hand on my mate.
“Georgyanna can go fuck herself.”
Nish rolled his eyes. “Truly, Ryder, such a ray of sunshine you are.”
“You’re amazing,” he whispered. “So strong. I knew you always had it within you.”
Having him hold me was like coming home, to a home I’d never known I’d lost and had no idea I’d been searching for.
“I was just thinking about how right this feels, and how all of these months, I hadn’t even realized that you were all I needed.”
“I can think of something I’d like to eat a lot more than what’s on that tray.”
“Make me yours,”
“I’ve wanted you for so long,”
“You’re everything to me, Ilara.”
This male was my mate. Mine. And I would fight whoever tried to take him from me.
“Possibly. It’s hard to look away when the most gorgeous creature I’ve ever encountered is right in front of me.”
“I’ll find a way if it’s the last thing I do. I’m not sharing any part of you with him.”
These are your Solis wings. Wings of snow. They’re beautiful, Ilara, as beautiful as you.”
She was my mate, the only female I would ever want or crave, and I would burn the entire realm if I needed to in order to keep her safe.
You’re mine, Ilara Seary, from now until the end of time.”
I would destroy the realm. I would destroy every fucking creature that made her look this anguished.
With only weeks until his wedding to Georgyanna and the Solis king’s council becoming more and more supportive of marching upon the Nolus continent, time truly was of the essence.
And from the hard edge of my guards’ jaws and the determined light in Ilara’s eyes—the hunt began tonight.
Nish scowled. “Ock, Tylen can go fuck his own arse.”
The magic Drachu had used to defeat whoever had attacked him were my powers that he had no business stealing.
The hunter glanced over his shoulder. “That’s a grasshopper, and this is why you’re paying me a thousand rulibs more.”
I quirked an eyebrow. “Me? Have an ego?” She snorted. “I know, never.”
She smelled of love, of hope, and of the home I’d never had.
Each thought was timed with a thrust until the only thing that mattered in my life, in this realm, in all of existence, was the female in my arms.
“You’re mine, Ilara. Mine.”
I saw stars. Felt the gods. Knew that my life would never again be complete without her.
But Ilara was mine, and I was hers, and damn anyone who tried to rip us apart.
“Full of questions, you are.” The Fire Wolf shifted it farther away.
He gave all of us a cocky grin. “Thank you. I think that did the trick.”
“I owe you a life debt,” I added. The hunter smirked. “I may call in on that someday.”
You are my life, my heart, my mate.
“I want to be your eternal wife. I only want you. I’ll only ever want you, and eternity still isn’t long enough.”
“You’re mine, Ilara Seary, for now until the end of eternity.”
