“This is the girl,” the healer told us, pointing to our beautiful daughter who had strands of soft golden hair which already had a slight curl to it and bright blue eyes. “And here’s your baby boy.” She gestured to the other one with earthy eyes, slightly darker skin and a dusting of brown hair on his head. “Don’t tell us which one is mine and which is Caleb’s,” I told the healer firmly, and she shared a confused look with Caleb who snorted a laugh, scooping the little boy into his arms.
