“Do all she-elves have eyes the color of the Lagoon?” With a quirky tilt of his lips, Fenn cocked his head. “Or do you simply capture starlight and give it form?” Serenna blinked,

“Regrets will dine on your mind if you invite them in. There’s a lesson in sorrow, but don’t allow your perceived failures to consume your thoughts.”

“If I were your elven prince,” Fenn continued softly, talking up to the moons, “I wouldn’t shy away from claiming the she-elf with eyes like the universe, burning with stars and fire.”
