Invictus Out of the night that covers me, Black as the Pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul. In the fell clutch of circumstances I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll, I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.

Myth: Suicide is a selfish act. Truth: Suicide isn’t about living or dying. It’s about not wanting to be in pain today.

No one gets up in the morning expecting a catastrophe. No one wakes up thinking this is the day — the day you will revisit for the balance of your life.

Myth: People often make a cry for help before they commit suicide.

Kids just need one person who loves them more than anything in the world. Doesn’t matter who loves them. Just that they do.
