I asked him if he ever thought about what God’s will was for his life. “I don’t think so,” was his short response. “God’s will was never a question presented to me or I ever thought about. I always felt that my salvation … depended on my accepting by faith the things that we believe. After that, I don’t think I ever had a problem thinking: ‘Is this the right thing for me?’”
