Jung recognised that ‘one principal factor is the individual character’. He and Riklin wrote: From our experiments, two easily recognizable types emerge: (1) A type in whose reactions, subjective, often feeling-toned experiences are used. (2) A type whose reactions show an objective, impersonal tone. (Jung 1973: 148)
