“It's difficult because with you here, I can see beyond all of this. I want a future… one that doesn't include time in jail, or being haunted by all the lives I've taken, or a life without you. So, yes, I'm protective of you, and it might be a little distracting, but that's not the most challenging part. The hardest part is ensuring I do everything carefully and correctly.
