“That strange disquiet, that disturbing loss of peace, is often the Holy Spirit seeking our attention. When we sin—be it accidentally or intentionally—the Holy Spirit brings those sins to mind. This, in turn, allows us to recognize our sin, taking it before God in genuine repentance. When we confess our sins to God, He is faithful to forgive us, cleansing us from our unrighteousness.”
