Although Mary is also a redeemed creature (the first of the redeemed, and in the most sublime way), she nonetheless cooperates with Christ in a unique and unrepeatable way. Her participation in the acquisition and distribution of her Son’s graces is unique and forms her special role in defeating the demon.
