My girl puts on a brave face, and she can fool pretty much anyone into believing she’s the carefree, wild party girl she pretends to be, but she’s not fooling me. I can see the pain she’s been hiding beneath the surface, even more so over the last few days. That’s why I let her sleep in my bed.
