The gospel is founded on three simple truths: Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; He was buried; and He rose again on the third day. The biblical declaration recorded in 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 affirms that the whole gospel is based on these facts. Then, faith appropriates these facts.
