the body has its own consciousness, which is rudimentary but intelligent enough and quite capable of operating the body independently of the psyche. It is only loosely connected to the other entity, the psyche. This consciousness is the sum total of the consciousnesses of the cells of our body or the “wisdom of the inner parts,” as the Bible puts it. We have here, then, two entities.
