Does it surprise you that God presents himself as a model for human community? It can be surprising because we tend to think of God as an individual. While God is one, the Bible also says that he exists in three persons. The biblical teaching of the Trinity is very practical for relationships since God himself is a model of loving, cooperative, unified community where diversity is an asset, not a liability.
