The magic crackled that night, fading in and out like a poor Wi-Fi signal struggling to connect.
“I need to memorize exactly what it looks like to see my name where it belongs before we get back to the isle and one of my brothers rips this jersey off your body.”
“I do not whine,” Kylian counters in a huff. “What’s there to like about sand, anyway? It gets everywhere. It clings to all the wrong places. You find it for days after leaving the beach, even after multiple showers. Sand is the glitter of the sea.”
“So sprinkles are the sand of the ice cream world?”
I lean in close, emboldened by the other guys’ eyes on me. Gripping Kylian’s shoulder, I pop up on my toes and bring my lips to his ear. “I’m thinking we should order an ice cream cone covered in sprinkles so I can smear it all over your cock and lick you clean. Don’t worry. I’ll find every last sprinkle. I swear.” Kylian goes rigid, and his spine snaps straight. “Give me the car keys,” he demands of Kendrick before leaning against the counter below the window and hollering, “One soft serve vanilla cone, extra sprinkles!”
