“Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.”
My chest went fuzzy at the stack of schedules, which weren’t unlike the stack of notes I’d saved from Elliot at home. We were a pair of sentimental fools when it came to each other, and I loved that for us.
“I also read that you think I’ll be a great father.” I shook my head. “No, that one isn’t right. I take it back.” He went still. “You do?” “Yeah, Elliot. You won’t be a great father because you already are one, present tense.” The breath he expelled could have moved mountains with its force. His arms curled around me, pulling me inside his cave. “Work on the delivery of your devastatingly beautiful proclamations, sweetheart,” he murmured.
While Elliot Levy could be intimidating as hell, Samson Warner had the capacity to be a soulless villain without breaking a sweat.
“Will you marry me now and love me forever?”
I didn’t know any other toddlers, but I could say, without a doubt, mine was something special.
P.S. Thank you for making me feel…making me feel.
Awwww….am I right? I love bringing an icy man to his knees, but I’ve uncovered my new favorite storyline: icy man melting over tiny baby.
