Illusion is called the five-streamed flow. It veils the individual consciousness (jiva), and envelops the Self with its five-streamed flow. Some call it the five afflictions. The five-streamed flow is ignorance, egotism, anger, hatred, and greed (insatiable desire), and is only the sentiments of our inner-mind. Ignorance is amnesia.
