In a pattern that quickly becomes familiar, the parents’ pursuit of the easy life leads them to accede to their children’s every demand, which become increasingly tyrannical.
There is no restraint on hedonism on post-modernism. What was once seen as immoral (to be excessively hedonised) is now normalised. Parents give into children which strive for hedonism, perpetuating consumerism, individuality and infantalism.
