Power Through Prayer

Do you pray for your preacher? Do you pray for him in secret? Public prayers are of little worth unless they are founded on or followed up by private praying.

Praying, true praying, costs an outlay of serious attention and of time, which flesh and blood do not relish.

the greatest benefactor this age could have is the man who will bring the preachers and the Church back to prayer.

Men who can stir things mightily for God, whose spiritual revolutions change the whole aspect of things, are the universal need of the Church.
