The highest expression of our imitation of Jesus, both collectively and individually, is in our concrete actions of love. First, we are to love those who, like us, are imperfect disciples gathered in some form of communal life. Then, second, we are to exhibit our love as a community dedicated to the kingdom of heaven outward into the world around us.
