Maharshi at last broke in, after having remained silent throughout: “You unwise persons!” he exclaimed. “You may even die to find out your real Self, and then may live without death. Why then do you care for the death of a third person? The Self does not perish, only the body, anyway. Be rid of your materialistic outlooks.”
