“I’ve never truly belonged anywhere. To anyone. But Sorcha, mate, I’m yours. If being part of your clan is what I must do to have you, then I’ll do it. Gladly. Because you are my life now.”
“I don’t know. I’m being silly.” “Not silly,” he said, kissing her hair. “If my mate wants assurance, then I’ll give it. As much as she needs.”
“I go where you go, my mate. You are my home, Sorcha. My clan. I’m sorry I ever made you doubt it.”
rasped, “Nobody has ever given a damn about me. By rights, you shouldn’t have either. But you took me into your heart, into your clan, and I will never take it for granted. You are the heart in my chest, the air in my lungs. You are my mate, and I will give you everything, for you are everything to me.”
