A celebration may make the team feel good but it won’t necessarily help them improve. Equally ineffective is listing all the things that went wrong. It may be thorough but it certainly won’t lead to a motivated, engaged team who are hungry to improve. Therefore, it is imperative that a ScrumMaster holds a balanced retrospective.
