“But we don’t choose what life we get, we just do our best to make the most of it.”
Good people didn’t say the cruelest things that came into their head every time they got frustrated. Good people weren’t tempted to set people on fire. Good people probably didn’t even turn other people into chickens. Heroes were supposed to be selfless and beautiful and care about saving the world.
“Who’s the real anyone? When does who you’re pretending to be stop being a pretense and turns into who you really are?”
Actions mattered. The rest was just excuses.
