A few years ago, we did a deliverance at our church and forbade any demons from coming through the door again. A few months later, we ran into problems when people reported to us that they couldn’t physically enter our church building. They literally felt held back from being able to walk through the church door. We changed our prayer, giving permission for people to enter who had demons but who wanted to be set free. We recognized that our first prayer was too general in forbidding any demons to enter, which prohibited way too many people who sincerely wanted freedom from getting it. I
