A happy person doesn’t feel the need to do anything, to create anything. Happy people are content with their lot, with the way things are. Freddie was perennially anguished. The way he felt about Mary was the cause of that, but was also an inspiration for his work.’

This made me happy. I worry that I don't have enough drive to do something to change the world but this showed me that I must be a pretty contented person to be happy to plod among in my life. It's true, I enjoy being one of the world "maintainers", changing the world is not something I'd be up to, and wouldn't want the responsibility of. I don't need to feel ashamed of that. What a feeling of peace this brought me.
