Today the evidence for evolution has been so convincingly documented in so many kinds of plants, fungi, animals, and microorganisms, and in such a great array of their hereditary traits, coming from every discipline of biology, all interlocking in their explanations and with no exception yet discovered, that evolution can be called confidently a fact.
