for many husbands. The reason they can’t pastor their wives is that they aren’t growing and maturing themselves.
A husband who is stagnant spiritually is in no position to lead his wife.
Instead of looking for miracles or quick fixes, husbands are called to show consistent love and biblical leadership that helps their wives grow into the full radiance of the inner and outer beauty that God designed them to have.

Through a proper understanding and application of the covenant of marriage, a husband who seeks to follow God should be able to promise his wife a growing, sanctifying relationship.
a husband can enhance this process for his wife by helping her grow in spiritual beauty and glory until she is transformed before his eyes. But to do that, he has to get dirty by dealing with the stuff in his own life and in his wife’s life that defiles and needs to go.
