One easy method of focusing our intention is to create a clear affirmation and repeat it several times a day, like a mantra. For example, repeating “higher self now” or “spiritual essence now” can be powerful. Silently repeat your affirmation as you are drifting to sleep or while meditating. Do this for several days and notice any vibrational changes or shifts of perception occurring in your state of consciousness. Often, your entire being may feel lighter and brighter. Repetition of your spiritual intention as you drift to sleep can also initiate lucid dreams and out-of-body experiences.
