The full expression, then, of the spiritual law of motion will be found in allowing the Spirit to move upon our thoughts, to set in right motion our emotion. It is this failure to submit to the Spirit that causes our thoughts to be “stuck” on temptation. We cannot seem to get our thoughts to move forward, or away from the temptation, simply because we will not allow the Spirit to turn those thoughts away from self and toward God. Let the Spirit then move our thoughts. As we yield, actively submit, the Spirit of God possesses us, and His movements become our own.
