According to the New Testament, salvation is not simply an individual transaction. It’s rather a translation from one community into another (Col. 1:13). It’s an incorporation into a collective spiritual reality, the body of Jesus Christ. And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women.
