She briefly told me what she went through before finding out I was alive. It was a very emotional, personal conversation with some crying, smiling, and a lot of love back and forth. She said she wanted to visit me, but I told her I was okay and it was best if she stayed home. I didn’t want her missing any school, and I also didn’t want her seeing me in such bad shape.
