All Christians may expect a certain amount of general tribulation in their lives. Jesus Himself said to the disciples, “In the world you will have tribulation” (John 16:33). Paul and Barnabas also warned that “through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God” (Acts 14:22). But the end-times tribulation period is distinct.
