Scripture is clear that apostasy will rise to a fever pitch during the future tribulation period. In 2 Thessalonians 2:3 we read, “Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first.” Many believe this refers to a rebellion against the truth.
