No, the Lord will choose vessels made meet by the operation of the blessed Spirit for His sacred use.
They present the cross as a martyrdom of love rather than a propitiation to satisfy divine justice and appease the wrath of a holy God.
Very few have heard that without holiness or sanctification no one will see the Lord.
We must purge ourselves of Saul’s armor and choose only the best stones for our sling: the Word of God, intercessory prayer, and sacrificial love.
He would rather that his greatest moral failures be exposed and that he be looked upon with the greatest contempt than for someone to think too much of him and too little of Christ.

If there is any singular proof of conversion, it is this: the true believer will glory in the person and work of Christ and will not put even the smallest confidence in himself or his deeds. He will reject and disdain every hope of having a
Like two sides of a coin, neither can properly exist without the other. In the first promise, God pledges to make an everlasting covenant with His people that He will not turn away from them, to do them good. The truths of the new covenant serve as a great warning to carnal and apathetic church members who boast of salvation and rest at ease in Zion.48 They are right in believing that God will never turn away from His people, but they are wrong to presume that they are His people when their lives contradict their confession.
Much of what is practiced within the evangelical community in the West regarding evangelism, conversion, and assurance of salvation is a denial of everything that the Scriptures teach about the new covenant, the new birth, and the very nature of God and salvation.
