I would’ve tried to escape if it was possible, but I had enough of a brain to know I’d never escape forty-five floors of shifters to do it.

This is a refreshing change.

“Now is when we hope Roman was paranoid enough to send extra guys.” She whispered. “I don’t know how to fight.”

So why was she there?

What a shock. White kidnapper van; I’d never been tossed into one of those before.

Sucks to be her.

“You smell like the home I’ve spent my entire life looking for. That’s why my scent changed when I caught yours. Seeing you and being with you only cemented that you’re it for me.”

I gave in to my instincts and peed on a tree,

After taking twice the recommended dose of ibuprofen and a little Tylenol too, I shuffled out to breakfast.

What did her liver ever do to her?

“Hurt people tend to hurt other people.” It was a line my mom used to explain to her eight-year-old why her father wasn’t around. One I’d learned was a fact when I watched the life drain from my mother’s eyes at the hands of Alpha who’d lost his mind when he lost his mate.

So? We are all walking wounded. It is no excuse and a poor reason.

“I’m not into following orders.”

She is getting to be an annoying broken record.

“We need to get this off.”

Why they let it go this long, letting her rest on her back, etc makes absolutely no sense.

Another gentle tug of the fabric had me wheezing,

His fingers brushed the gel-like substance onto my wounds.

You need to wash it again. This is freshman health 101.

“He’s not mated.” Yeah, Roman’s grudging expression told me that was definitely it. I rolled my eyes.

This is nuts. She is severely injured, for fluff's sake.

“Hello, Henley.” A large hand wrapped around my mouth,

Understanding the need not to question my Alpha in front of this man, I tilted my head to the door.

Yay! She isn"t totallty pig headed.

Does this make any sense?

She looked a bit more relaxed, but nowhere near as buzzed

as either of the other werewolf chicks we knew.

This makes NO sense. Why are they getting pie faced, if they are supposed to be guardung her? And didn't London already admit before that she can't fight? This makes absolutely NO FLIPPING SENSE!

“About earlier,” Roman watched me start on the ends of my hair, brushing slowly.

You don't use a brush on wet long hair first. You use a really wide toothed comb.

I hate liars. She lies constantly. It is not cute.

There I was in ancient sleep shorts and a tank top with a giant grease stain over the boob (my pizza obsession was getting to be a real problem), makeup I hadn’t bother to remove last night streaked under my eyes, and the hair I hadn’t washed in four or five days tied up in a messy bun

was probably petrifying into some sort of dry-shampoo rock.

Ugh. What?

“I don’t need to explain myself to you. I’ve already told you to stop chasing me. The pack comes first for you, and I get that. It’s just not what I want in a mate.”

Okay, I get that last part, but she sounds so stupidly middle school melodramatic so much of the time. Her "you're not the boss of me" crappola just gets old.

And damn, I wanted him.

One of the werewolves vaulted over the bar and sprinted after me while the

other created a diversion by grabbing a human man and tearing his head clean off his body.

Why does this feel too abrupt or lime it doesn't make sense?

“It’s okay if you want to wait for your mate.” “No, let’s go.” We started off down the street together, cops staring at us as we left.

Does this make sense to ....anyone? She was just attacked. They are both banged up.

“Go home.” I went inside. As the door closed, he said, “You’re the only home I want anymore.”

Aw. She has NOTHING. Not even freedom really, since she is always on the run, but she is afraid of being hurt and.....at this point, I am getting kind of done with her.

“As soon as you know what it’s like to be an eight-year-old who knows there isn’t a soul alive who loves you, you can call me whatever you want. Until then, get out of my

bar and leave me the hell alone.”

For fluff's sake. This makes no sense in this moment. I want to smack her.

I grabbed one of the bras I’d picked out with London and pulled it on. That sucker made my boobs look fantastic.

Does the author not understand what a pack enforcer actually does?

With how well he knew his drinks, I didn’t doubt he’d had his fair share of benders.

What does knowing his drinks have to do with benders?

“I’m not your possession.” I snarled,

We really should’ve considered this outcome. Damned speed-dating.

She is really a stupid woman...childish and self absorbed. This potential was discussed earlier in the book.

I should’ve mated with Roman while I had the chance. Being unmated was too freaking dangerous for me.

Well, duh. Like the rest of us didn't already know this? But you, obnoxious thing, had to drag us through chapter after chapter of doing and saying the same stupid stuff over and over.
