As with all demonic entities, the primary assault is not direct, but rather operates in a cloaked manner through deception. If Mammon were to directly appear to any Christian or even unbeliever, reveal his identity and demand loyalty, love and service, very few would voluntarily submit to him. Thus, the primary tactic of Mammon is to entice people to serve him without realizing that they are doing so.
