You can seize control and put your opponent at an immediate disadvantage, in a position where they may pressure themselves into making mistakes because they’re behind. Those first two points bring increased tension to the match and so I want to be extremely careful not to go for a high-risk shot just because I’m nervous and want to end the point quickly.
