Theorists have therefore come to recognize that the Anthropic Principle cannot eliminate the need of an explanation of the fine-tuning unless it’s conjoined with a many worlds hypothesis. According to that hypothesis, our universe is but one member of a world ensemble or “multiverse” of randomly ordered universes, preferably infinite in number.
