And what of longer processes, such as the sun ripening a tomato, the Second World War, or a young baby growing into an old man? What of the history of the entire universe from start to finish? These events and processes certainly seem to be a part of reality. We don’t want to deny they exist. They are a real feature of our world. But if we talk just about the particulars and their properties, it seems that we omit them.
Certainly, the notions of event and processes are closely connected, and there may be only a vague divide between them.
